Questions & Answers

The things prospective residents ask us most, answered plainly. If yours is not here, the leasing office is a phone call away.

01

Touring & Applying

Use the button anywhere on the site, or call the leasing office at 651-578-0498. Walk-ins are welcome during office hours as well — someone is on site every weekday afternoon.

Monday through Friday, 1:00pm to 5:00pm. The office is closed Saturday and Sunday, though you are welcome to leave a voicemail and we will return it the next business day.

Three layouts across the two buildings:

  • The Wilson — 1 bed, 1 bath, roughly 800 sq ft
  • The Battle Creek — 2 bed, 1 bath, roughly 875 sq ft
  • The Wakefield — 3 bed, 1 bath, roughly 1,050 sq ft

You can see the layouts on the Residences page.

Rent and availability change month to month, so rather than post a figure that goes stale we keep it with the leasing office. Call 651-578-0498 and we will tell you exactly what is open, what it costs, and when it is ready.

We generally look for household income of about three times the monthly rent, good credit, and a positive rental history. Applications are handled directly through the leasing office — call 651-578-0498 and we will walk you through the paperwork and what to bring.

Living at Ridgewood

Heat, water, trash, and sewer are all covered by your rent. Electric is the only utility you set up in your own name — there is no separate water bill, no trash fee, and no heating bill in January.

There is a laundry room on every floor, so you are never carrying a basket more than a few doors down. The machines are new and card operated — no coins to hunt for.

Resident parking is on site, steps from your entrance. Garages are available as well; ask the leasing office about current openings and cost when you call.

Heat is central and included in your rent. Air conditioning is available — ask the office which homes currently have it installed.

Most homes open onto a private balcony or patio looking out over the courtyard lawn rather than the parking lot. The two- and three-bedroom layouts often have more than one.

Warm wood cabinetry and timeless finishes — the character of the era the buildings were built in, kept in good order. You can see them in the gallery.

Call the leasing office at 651-578-0498 or stop in during office hours. The management team works on the property itself rather than from across town, so requests do not have to travel far.

Building entrances are locked, with intercom access so you can let guests in from your apartment.

03

Policies

No — Ridgewood is a pet-free community, and pets are not permitted in any of our homes.

Ridgewood is strictly non-smoking. Smoking is not permitted in any apartment, in the common areas, or anywhere on the property.

Ask the leasing office when you apply — they will tell you what coverage is expected and when proof is needed.

The Neighborhood

Target is on Suburban Avenue about two minutes away, with Cub Foods just past it. Conway Park is a half-mile walk, and Battle Creek Regional Park — trails, a ski hill, a waterfall and a dog park — is five minutes out. Head east and the Woodbury corridor brings Costco, Lunds & Byerlys, Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s.

The neighborhood page has an interactive map of everything within a short drive.

Roughly 15 minutes to downtown Saint Paul, 20 to MSP International, and 25 to downtown Minneapolis — I-94 and I-494 are both close by. Metropolitan State University is about nine minutes away.

An Anytime Fitness is two minutes from the door and the Conway Recreation Center is closer still. Further out you have Vertical Endeavors for climbing, the Eastside YMCA, CorePower Yoga, and Life Time in Woodbury.
